About Me

I was born and raised on Bell Island, Newfoundland. A place I still call home. I moved to Cambridge Ontario in 1989 with my parents John, Marion and six siblings. I became a Social Services Worker in 2000 and have worked with seniors, kids, youth and families. I still continue my work in the social service field doing community outreach working with lower income families.

From a young age I use to love to collect shells and rocks from the beaches of Newfoundland. I would bring my collection home and glue them on a piece of cardboard for display, and admire my findings for the whole day. Little did I know then that my hobby would become a passion and a business at the age of 35. I am forever thankful for all I have received.

How I found gemstones or how they found me ?

After becoming a Reiki practitioner and now a Reiki Master Teacher I became very interested in gemstones and their healing properties. I then decided to buy this beautiful blue sodalite wire wrapped stone from Dee who is now a great friend. I wore this stone for a week and than thought I would like to learn how to make this type of jewelry because I felt so connected to it. Dee offered to teach me and on that day I never knew I was as creative as I am. Thanks Dee! My life is now surrounded with gemstones, and I plan to study them more. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
